We are currently seeking a **Junior Quality Analyst** to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in **Kitchener, ON.**

**Responsibilities**:
- Understand business requirements and create deliverables such as test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test coverage matrices.
- Coordinate the testing efforts of other team members according to each project’s test plan and release schedule, such as: functional, regression, user acceptance, usability and exploratory testing.
- Assist with the execution of test plans as required.
- Analyze and document test results and make recommendations.
- Identify innovative ways to verify software functionality and locate software defects.
- Contribute to the enhancement of our processes and standards.
- Work collaboratively with developers, project managers and business leaders.
- Report quality metrics and provide status updates.
- Plan test automation strategies, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Required:
- 1-3 years of experience (co-op considered). If you have graduated within the last 3 years, please also submit a soft copy of your transcript (unofficial copy is fine)
- A diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution in quality assurance, software development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test case management and issue tracking tools and issue tracking tools like TFS ,TestRail or Jira.
- Test automation skills including light scripting and SQL skills.
- Familiarity with software installation on multiple platforms such as Windows and Android is an asset.
- You enjoy testing, discovering and documenting software issues.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
