Located in Jordan, Ontario, **The Shore** offers stunning views and fabulous food. We offer a contemporary casual concept, featuring exceptional seafood, artisanal pizza, signature prime rib and local wines from the Niagara region. Guests can enjoy the lake view from inside our glass-walled dining room, or from our stunning patio.

**Position Function**:
The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing, baking, and plating pizzas according to the restaurant's standards.

**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to restaurant recipes.
- Cook pizzas, ensuring they are cooked to perfection.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all pizzas leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's standards.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with preparations of all the stations as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- 2 years of experience in fast-paced pizza restaurants preferred.
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts, skills, or management preferred.
- Chef's certificate-apprenticeship program-culinary training.
- Strong communication skills.
- Food Handling Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to occasionally lift items as heavy as 50 lbs.
