**Compensation**: Permanent half-time salary at $27,500-$30,000. 18.75 hours per week. The Conservatory offers a competitive employee benefits package.

**Hours**: Half time at 18.75 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends required.

Overview

Key Responsibilities

**Sponsorship**
- Oversee and grow a portfolio of sponsors interested in supporting the Conservatory’s events.
- Create mutually beneficial sponsorship proposals that meet the goals of both the sponsor and the Conservatory.
- Coordinate across departments internally to ensure that deliverables are met.
- Attend networking events and act as a forward-facing ambassador for the Conservatory.
- Establish and monitor event and sponsorship budgets, with support from the Director of Development.

**Special Events**
- Plan and execute events (Mother’s Day Musical Garden Tour, donor receptions, third-party events, and others as applicable) with full support of the Director of Development in coordination with the Development team.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding marketing and design, event logistics, sourcing venues, arranging for musicians and engaging volunteers to assist as needed.
- Create and monitor event budgets within established guidelines.
- Source vendors, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Assist donors/attendees with general inquiries prior to and during each event.
- Engage volunteers to assist as required.
- Recognize the contributions of volunteers and provide ongoing support as appropriate. This could include scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and work plans.
- Arrange catering, signage, promotional materials, accommodation, and transportation as required.

Qualifications and Requirements
- 2+ years of fundraising, event planning, project management, account management, and/or marketing experience preferred.
- A genuine interest in music/the arts, philanthropy, and the nonprofit sector.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the willingness to serve as a passionate public-facing ambassador for the Conservatory.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly with sponsors, donors, volunteers, artists, and administrative staff.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and a self-starter.
- Knowledge of CRMs and data management an asset.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to transport yourself to and from off-site locations for meetings and special events.
