Terms of Employment: Aquatic Supervisor Type of Positions: Full-Time **Salary**: TBD - commensurate on experience Description: H2O is searching for Aquatic Lifeguard Supervisor to supervise and mentor employees and oversee operations of its pool for the summer season (May to Labour Day). **Duties**: - On-site oversight of indoor and outdoor pools - Supervision of employees - Employee training, mentoring and on-site orientations - Managing administration for all employees, including: approving payroll hours, scheduling, replacements, corrective actions if necessary, evaluations etc. - Answering employee and client inquiries - Ensuring all facilities meet or exceed provincial regulations - On-site inspections and inventory orders for all sites - Meeting with clients - Liaison with suppliers - Other duties as assigned **Requirements**: - Must have current NL and Standard First Aid with CPR C certification - Minimum three (3) years lifeguarding experience - Must have a personal vehicle - Leadership or management experience (aquatic or otherwise) is a strong asset - Exceptional organizational skills required - Strong communications skills (verbal and written) - Problem solving skills - Must have the ability to work a range of hours (including some evenings and weekends) - Bilingualism an asset Additional information: - Supervisors must have valid NL and Standard First Aid certifications prior to the first day of employment and must be valid until Labour Day. Verification of all certifications will be required. - Written assignments may be required during the interview process. - References will be sought. - All Supervisors must attend various training sessions over their first week. Tâches: - Surveillance sur place des piscines intérieures et extérieures - Supervision des employés - Formation des employés, mentorat et orientation sur place - Gestion de l'administration pour tous les employés, y compris : approbation des heures de paie, planification, remplacements, mesure corrective si nécessaire, évaluations, etc. - Répondre aux demandes des employés et des clients - Veiller à ce que toutes les installations respectent ou dépassent les réglementations provinciales - Inspections des sites et commandes d'inventaire pour tous les sites - Rencontre avec les clients - Liaison avec les fournisseurs - Autres tâches assignées Exigences: - Doit détenir des certificats valides de secourisme général avec RCR-C et Sauveteur national - Minimum de trois (3) ans d'expériences en tant que sauveteur pour un poste de superviseur à temps plein - Doit disposer d'un véhicule personnel - Une expérience de direction ou de gestion (aquatique ou autre) est un atout - Compétences organisationnelles exceptionnelles requises - De solides compétences en matière de communication (orale et écrite) - Compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes - Doit pouvoir travailler pendant nombres d'heures (y compris certains soirs et fin de semaine) - Le bilinguisme est un atout Informations complémentaires: - Les superviseurs doivent disposer de certificats de premiers soins général avec RCR et de SN valides avant le premier jour de travail et doivent être valides jusqu'à la Fête du travail. La vérification de toutes les certifications sera requise. - Des devoirs écrits peuvent être exigés pendant l'entrevue. - Des références seront demandées. - Tous les superviseurs doivent assister aux sessions de formation au cours de leur première semaine. H2O se réserve le droit de retirer ou de modifier une offre d'emploi si les normes de base de SN ne sont pas respectées lors de première la session de formation dans l'eau.
