We are seeking leaders who will enjoy full and active days spent working offsite and at the pool, constantly interacting with children, families, and teammates.
This is an opportunity to love your job where you will be creating exceptional experiences for customers and employees. A minimum of 3 shifts per week at the pool is required, including weekdays evenings and at least one weekend day. This position requires working at different locations in Ottawa.

Responsibilities Include:
- Driving exceptional customer experiences through phone and pool deck experience
- Ability to respond to challenges positively and proactively
- Assessing students progress and move-ups
- Creating a caring, fun, friendly and effective work environment
- Creating and managing class and employee schedules
- Leading regular team meetings and managing employee engagement
- Ensuring that classes are delivered to the expected standard (passion for inspiring, leading and growing a young workforce)
- Providing safe and effective swim instruction, including leading by example, upholding the British Swim School Values, and managing related pool and front desk operations activities and staff.
- Inform the Deck staffof any needs or maintenance issues that need addressing.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include holidays and weekends as required by business needs and as requested by management.
- Gain knowledge and experience in the Jackrabbit system to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions
- Prepare staff schedule, ensure appropriate staff coverage during swim lessons
**Qualifications**
- Successful completion of relevant training, including, but not limited to POS (JackRabbit), Deck Ambassador, Swim Instructor course
- Lifeguard, First Aid-CPRC certifications preferred
