JOB SUMMARY
Actively seeks new business opportunities, and solicits business from existing account base, that aligns with sales strategies and business development channels
DIRECT AND INDIRECT REPORTS

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
**Financial and/or Budget**:
- Develops Sales Forecasts for Central Ontario territory (GTA to Sudbury / North Bay) for approval by Regional Sales Manager
**Health & Safety**:
- Follows all safe working procedures and processes and reports incidents and accidents promptly
**Technical / Function-Specific**:
- Develops strong relationships with new/existing customers to grow the business.
- Works collaboratively with customers to better understand their needs and goes out of the way to deliver on commitments made
- Promotes Commdoor and Glass Group product lines and the Toro business portfolio
- Conducts Architectural Presentations to a high standard and with positive impact
- Attends Project Site Meetings, and Inspections as required in order to better service and understand the needs of customers and key stakeholders and ensure delivery of timely services in line with client agreements
- Monitor sales trends and actively take part in promotional campaigns to generate interest and secure orders
- Keep up to date on competitor progress and be alert to competitor activities and changes in market trends
- Reviews Architectural and Glazing Contractor drawings, as required
**Internal / External Customer Service**:
- Sales Representative will work with Commdoor Estimating and Customer Service counterparts, as necessary
**Administration**:
- Produces sales reports and business reports as required by the needs of the business
- Develops and maintains a client/customer portfolio and key contact details and ensure information is regularly updated
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE IN THE ROLE
**Education**:
- Good standard of education
Experience
- Sales experience within the Construction industry an asset
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTE THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to review blueprints would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management, and organizational skills
- Self-motivate and driven to succeed
- Computer skills in Excel, Microsoft Work, Outlook, Web Inquiries and Power Point
- Ability to travel with overnight stays
