Ontario Motor Sales is a Chevrolet Cadillac dealership proudly servicing the Durham Region for over 100 years. As a well-established GM Certified Service Centre, we see a high volume of maintenance work as well as warranty and repair orders making our Parts Department a busy vibrant place to work. We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Parts Department

As our Shipper/Receiving you will be at beginning of our Customer Satisfaction journey ensuring all our products are ready and available as our customers require them

**Key responsibilities**:

- Receive and verify incoming shipments.
- Receipt, separates and distributes all parts from the daily General Motors delivery.
- Prepare the wholesale deliveries from each day’s order in neat and organized manner.
- Prepares and shelve all stock orders, including updating our software system with new bin locations as necessary.
- Assist with invoicing the wholesale orders.
- Confirm any/all backordered parts from each day’s delivery.
- Ensure all completed paperwork is delivered to the Parts Manager in a timely manor.
- Deliver parts to customers, as necessary.
- Pick up parts at other suppliers, as necessary.
- Interact with internal staff and delivery people in a positive and productive way to promote our positive image and environment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
- Preparation factory returns for shipment on a weekly basis.
- Assist in maintaining accuracy of parts inventory, including inventory counts.
- Keeps all displays stocked, neat, clean and tidy.

**Job requirements**:

- Ability to work independently within a Team setting.
- Valid Drivers License (abstract required).
- Highschool or equivalent.
- Experience in automotive is helpful but not required.
- Attention to detail is a BIG plus.
- Positive work attitude is crucial.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 110 kgs. (50 lbs.).
