**Title**: Community Health Practice Consultant
**Salary**: $102,490 - $125,736 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday (core hours 9am - 3pm)
**Location**: Park Royal, West Vancouver
- Hybrid work model (50% in office). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, spring 2027.

**About the role**
As Community Health Practice Consultant, you will - report to the Nurse Manager, Community Health Practice Consultant. You play a vital role in providing culturally safe education, leadership, and consultation for nurses delivering health services within First Nations communities across British Columbia. This position involves regular travel throughout the Vancouver Coastal Region. Key responsibilities include supporting clinical practice through culturally grounded orientation, professional practice guidance, and clinical competency assessments. You will also lead the development and implementation of community-based nursing programs, ensuring they are designed with respect for First Nations cultural principles. Additionally, you ensure a respectful communication pathway with FNHA Vancouver Coastal Region leadership, fostering effective collaboration and alignment with FNHA's values and the seven directives.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Additional training and education related but not limited to public health, community health, mental health, palliative care, wound care, diabetic education an asset.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in community/public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an combination of education, training and professional experience.
- Currently registered in good standing or eligible for with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).
- Current BCCDC (British Columbia Centre for Disease Control) certification in immunizations and communicable disease
- Class 5 Drivers License

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
