**Job Title: Residential Maintenance Technician.**

**Job Purpose**

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing primarily residential maintenance/repairs as per service order requests. You will perform maintenance tasks of variety such as drywall repairs, painting, fence repairs etc.

**Responsibilities**
- Drywall repairs from start to finish. Includes new drywall, mud work, sand, prep and ready for finish.
- Reattachment of items in common area that may have come loose. Such as handrails, baseboards, trim etc.
- Minor plumbing and electrical services if needed.
- Minor carpentry repairs.
- Fence and gate repairs.
- Deck and railing repairs.
- Window and door repairs.
- Minor landscaping repairs.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations, building codes and policies.

**Requirements and Skill**
- Proven experience as maintenance technician. Looking for two years experience min.
- Sole Proprietor/Owner operator applicants will be accepted.
- Basic understanding of general requirements listed above.
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools necessary to perform the work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Able to lift heavy objects climb ladders and tasks in confined spaces.
- Good physical condition and strength to perform the work.
- Proven communication skills and ability to talk with homeowners and residents/renters.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required.
- Must own basic tools to perform tasks. Some tools can be provided as needed.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
