**Schedule**:40 hrs/week, 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday Availability.Shift time might vary based on business demands.

**Position Overview**:
The Warehouse Maintenance Team Member, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, will be responsible for the daily upkeep/maintenance of the Caledonia Warehouse. They will perform a daily maintenance routine with mínimal supervision, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

**What will you do?**

The Warehouse Maintenance Team Member role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:

- Cleaning the warehouse floors of all debris
- Operation and basic maintenance of a ride-on floor scrubber
- Disposal of all waste in the appropriate bins
- Fabrication of wooden crates and custom pallets as needed
- Operate a counterbalance forklift as needed within the warehouse
- Assist with setup and tear down at company events
- Perform installation, maintenance, repairs and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and mechanics.
- Assists and perform functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of furniture, cabinets, shelving, and a variety of other structures and items
- Perform monthly safety assessment of warehouse racking/repairs
- Perform general grounds keeping on a daily basis; inspect outside areas, ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition
- Other duties as directed.

**What type of experience and skills do you have?**
- 3 years experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades
- 1 year experience in a warehouse distribution operation
- 1 year experience using a Forklift and a valid Forklift license
- Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Strong aptitude and ability to provide unparalleled customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Must be self-directed.
- Successful completion of Criminal Background Check

**What is considered an asset?**
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for 80% of shift.
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
