**Title**: Warehouse Team Member - Van Driver

**Reports to**: Manager - Inventory, Transportation and Continuous Development

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Occasional Saturdays. Overtime as required.

Shift start/end times may vary due to scheduling requirements.

**Stone Tile International is looking for an **_**Warehouse Team Member-Van Driver**_ **to join our dynamic team.**

We are continuously looking for the best and most promising individuals to join our tightknit and unique team. Stone Tile is currently looking to fill one (1) Warehouse Team Member-Van Driver position within the Warehouse Department to assist in the execution, delivery, and administration of the transfers process between Toronto warehouses and periodic deliveries within the GTA.

**What will you do?**

Reporting to the Manager - Inventory, Transportation and Continuous Development, and taking daily direction from the Team Lead, the Warehouse Team Member
- Van Driver role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:
v Preparing orders for subsidiary branches, according to packing slips provided.

v Labeling all full-size samples with proper identification prior to releasing material to be used or shipped.

v Load, unload products safely.

v Pulling material for Production department, according to Cutting Order quantities.

v Drive the forklift as needed.

v Recording and reporting breakage for stock/inventory adjustments.

v Ensure correct loading of the transfer van for transfer between Toronto warehouses or periodic GTA deliveries, recording of delivery information, and providing unparalleled customer service.

v Drive transfer van to and from warehouses to execute transfers.

v Provide feedback to the Lead Hand once deliveries and pickups have been done at each warehouse building or regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.

v Follow the new Samsara routing system to ensure ETA to delivery sites are aligned.

v Take photographs, along with customer signatures for every delivery made.

v Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.

v Communicate with clients one hour prior to delivery to their site. Contact name and phone numbers will be provided to you prior to departure. (5-6 calls a day)

v Serve as a backup driver for the Hino Cube truck which requires experience with the walkie

v Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.

v Perform other duties as assigned.

**What type of experience and skills do you have?**

v 3+ years experience in a warehouse related position/ order picking

v 3+ years experience of driving with a G-license

v 1+ years of forklift and walkie experience

v Valid Forklift license

v Valid G Driver’s license

v Must be self-directed and able to perform tasks with mínimal supervision

v Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities

v Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques

v Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

v Strong aptitude and ability to provide unparalleled customer service

v Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

v High level of personal integrity

v Clean Driver's abstract

v Successful completion of Criminal Background Check

**What is considered an asset?**

v Previous experience in a front faced customer service role

v Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures

v Knowledge of First Aid and CPR

v Ability to lift 50 pounds

v Ability to stand and walk for 80% of shift
