Job Posting: Residential House Manager

**Salary**: TBD

Location: Halifax, N.S.

Reports to: Executive Director

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations
- Manage a team of Resident Support workers
- Work with program users and Case manager to identify and prioritize needs and goals and to connect them with community resources.
- Policies and procedure development
- Grant writing and budget meeting with bookkeeper and Executive director
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including funders, community organizations, program users, and staff.
- Accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, training, and skill building.
- Additional responsibilities to support the operation of Stepping Stone as required.

Education Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.

Qualifications/Skills:

- Minimum 3 years of managerial work experience is required.
- Knowledge of and experience with community based, trauma informed, harm reduction practices.
- Experience in developing policies and procedures in the housing sector
- Grant writing and reports
- Professional and responsible with sensitive and highly confidential information.
- Experience/education with community referrals, intense case management, and/or providing mental health supports is an asset.
- Naloxone Training
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
- CPR- First Aid
- The ability to obtain a clear vulnerable sector check

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
