A well-established, family-owned and operated company for over 65 years based in Alliston, Ontario is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team. We offer competitive pay with employee group benefits upon successful completion of the probationary period.

This is a full-time permanent role, providing dispatch support, office support, billing and accounting support.

**Hours of work**:8:00 am - 4:00 pm **Monday to Friday**

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience handling invoicing for shipments, including familiarity with billing platforms and online submission portals (e.g., Loblaws, Metro)
- Understanding of customs procedures and the ability to prepare accurate documentation for cross-border shipments.
- Strong organizational skills with experience preparing driver paperwork, payroll documentation, and other transport-related forms.
- Comfortable making professional calls to clients (e.g., restaurants) to coordinate deliveries and confirm order details.
- Experience in order entry, shipment tracking, and providing support to carriers and customers.
- Ability to generate and manage labels required for plant or production activities.
- Willingness to provide vacation coverage for other departments (e.g., potatoes division) and assist with additional tasks as needed.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software/systems.
