**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Operate forklifts and heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid DZ
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is advantageous for maintaining vehicle performance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
