Reporting to the regional sales manager, the OEM sales account manager, targets, coordinates and execute sales strategies for the central region to meet and exceed sales targets by creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Promotes the sales of Variable Frequency Drives and Electric Motors within the OEM market channel.
- Leads the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
- Defines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement with a structured follow up process across Divisions and Countries. Sells products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets representing all ABB.
- Understands the key business drivers of the relevant customer’s business and business environment and interprets the impact and opportunity for ABB. Participates in the development of sales strategies for the account by providing the customer’s current business and long-term plans. Leads the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions.
- Create, implement, and execute sales and account strategy to meet and exceed regional OEM market channel sales targets
- Work collaboratively with regional front-end Sales teams to ensure coverage of OEM channel opportunities related to key project/packaging pursuits
- Monitors, market trend and competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken
- Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels with key customers as well as market influencers, consultants and EPCs.
- Develop and support synergies with other ABB business lines and develop joint pursuits to leverage existing ABB customer relationships.
**Your background**:
- Proven track record in sales, sales management, or strategic business development (10 years+).
- Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
- Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms, salesforce a plus.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the Central region (Occasional national travel).
