The **Merchandiser/Cashier** is responsible for ensuring stock is placed on the floor, the ability to build displays and ensure labels are correctly placed. The incumbent will have excellent customer service skills, cashier experience in a busy environment and exceptional attention to detail.
- Customer service experts with experience in helping customers identify parts and products throughout the store.
- Experience in ensuring stock is put away correctly.
- Individuals with great attention to detail and ability to multi task.
- Inventory management experience.
- Ability to build and displays and ensure labels are in correct location.
- Individuals with professional and polite telephone skills.
- Ability to answer phones and use paging system.
- Work well under pressure
- Organizational and filing skills.
- Experience handling cash & debit / credit card.
- Someone that values safety in the workplace and is willing to adhere to all health & safety standards.
- Someone who can physically lift up to 50 lbs of product.
- Someone who has worked in the automotive and heavy duty parts industry and has product knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in merchandising.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience handling customers and cash.
- Experience with reading invoices and filing is a definite asset.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the automotive/heavy duty sales market or automotive parts sales is required
- Must have the ability to evaluate problems, identify root causes, develop corrective action plans and help influence change and process improvement.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills coupled with a professional demeanor.
- Self-directed yet able to work well in a team environment
- Strong analytical and process skills.
- Ability to work any day of the week.
