We are currently looking for logistics specialists who are responsible for overseeing the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping and receiving.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Issuing and Managing Orders: Accurately issuing and managing orders for incoming shipments.

Documentation Management: Collecting, reviewing, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with international shipping standards.

Database Management: Maintaining and organizing a comprehensive logistics database, ensuring all shipment information is up-to-date and accessible.

Shipment Monitoring: Monitoring, tracking, and tracing all import shipments, providing regular updates and reports on their status.

Stakeholder Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for freight forwarders, shipping lines, terminals, warehouses, and carriers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the shipment process.

Coordination: Collaborating with various internal and external parties to facilitate the smooth and timely flow of import shipments.

Issue Resolution: Identifying and troubleshooting logístical issues promptly, minimizing delays and ensuring shipment integrity.

Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the development of improved processes and practices within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
Education: Post-secondary education is required; a background in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: At least 2 years demonstrated experience in managing international ocean and air shipments.

Language Skills: Fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data management (Vlookup and Pivot Table req’d).

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in documentation and shipment tracking.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and resourceful mindset.

Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.

Preferred: Experience and education in supply chain and logistics are advantageous.

Location: This position is based at our Markham warehouse and requires 100% on-site presence. Requires overtime three days per week, which could be extended into midnight. Overtime can be worked at home.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
