Adhere to the plan of care

Facilitate residents' move in and transfer

Observe and report on residents service

Assist the resident with personal care

Observe and report on changes in resident

Escalate medical emergencies to supervisor or emergency medical services

Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring and adaptive aids

Demonstrate understanding of resident needs and maximize abilities

Provide cognitive, social, emotional and psychological support to the resident

Maintain resident confidentiality

Respond to resident concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken

Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment

Experience working with seniors in the community health services setting

Strong written and oral communication skills

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required

Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening

UCP certificate preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wasaga Beach, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
