_Mayer Health Services is looking for dedicated and hardworking _**Personal Support Workers **_for our clients near _**Wasaga Beach, Ontario.**_
- As part of Mayer Health’s team, you will be providing support to clients with various social, physical and psychological needs. Our caregiver’s are part of a dynamic team tailored to each client’s customized care needs._

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Perform duties of care as per client’s individual care plan and assist in activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, organization, light housekeeping
- Demonstrated commitment to client centered care
- Demonstrated excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and reading skills are required to understand and follow care plans and write reports.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision and also as part of a team
- Demonstrated professional work ethic, good attendance and commitment to working safely
- Ability to follow procedures, legislation and safety policies
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic devices
- Ability and Willingness to travel to client’s location**.**

**Training & Experience**:

- Current Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (Foreign trained nurses, Nursing Students)
- Valid First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Updated immunization records
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check/Police Clearance Screening
- Second Language is an asset
- Driver's license is an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
