**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate sheet metal forming equipment, such as brake press, shear, punch press, etc.
- Loading, forming, unloading product ranging from small pieces to larger sheet steel
- Ensure the accurate measurement of parts using measuring tape, square
- Perform periodic checks on output
- Responsible for quality checking the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production
- Communicate issues to Supervisor

**Qualification and Requirements**:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in Brake & shear machines.
- Determine cut sizes on parts using correct Bend Allowance calculations
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
- Lay out, set up and operate brake press machines and back stops
- Read and interpret drawings or follow verbal instructions to bump, bend, roll, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
- Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and layouts.

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

- French not required

- Monday to Friday
