Caribou Electric is currently seeking a _**Shop Services Technician**_ to join our team. This position tests, rebuilds, and repairs electric motors, generators, controllers, and related electrical equipment used in commercial, industrial, and institutional establishments.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

- Troubleshoot and diagnose emergency repairs
- Rewind electric motors, including coil winding and insulation
- Balance rotating equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Document repairs and maintenance service records

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Required**_
- Journeyman Electrician or Electric Motor Systems Technician
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with AC and DC motor repair.
- Knowledge of electrical components and diagnostic programs and procedures.
- **Preferred**_
- Experience testing, rebuilding, and repair of electric motors and generators
- Professional oral and written communication skills

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Electrical motor repair: 2 years (required)
