**Job Title: Machine Operator - Bakery Manufacturing Plant**

**Location**: Mississauga, ON

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Position Summary**: As a **Machine Operator**, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining bakery production machinery. You will ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and that our products meet the required quality standards. This role plays a critical part in the efficient production of our baked goods.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up, operate, and monitor bakery production machinery (e.g., mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, packaging equipment).
- Conduct routine checks to ensure that machines are functioning properly, and troubleshoot any mechanical issues.
- Ensure that production lines are running efficiently and safely while maintaining high product quality standards.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of ingredients and packaging materials.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of machines to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
- Monitor product quality during the production process and report any deviations from quality standards to supervisors.
- Keep accurate records of machine performance, production outputs, and maintenance activities.
- Follow all food safety, health, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Work with the production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a machine operator, ideally in a bakery or food manufacturing environment for atleast 2 years.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to lift and move materials, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if needed.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
