In addition, the incumbent will coordinate the preparation of financial reports while managing a team. **This opportunity comes with a salary range of $90K to $100K per year.** **Job Duties** - Maintain financial information up to date and provide management with interpretations and insights into key financial metrics and trends - Direct and supervise the efforts of employees of the team, providing guidance and support - Implement necessary changes in processes to increase the productivity of the team; - Coordinate the development of financial reports with the information needed to support business decisions - Be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, financial analysis, management comments and related reports as scheduled; - Review the end-of-month process operations, including reconciliation of accounts - Oversee and conduct monthly analysis of income and profit spreads for various activities, as well as operating expenses based on forecasts in place - Review and maintain performance tools (performance indicators, dashboards, statistics, management ratios); - Be responsible for the audit of year-end financial statements including supervision and preparation of the year-end file. Provide support to external auditors during the verification process; - Take charge of the budget process and explanation of variances; - Manage tax compliance including government remittances; - Establish and maintain effective internal control processes to safeguard company assets - Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs - Provide the required support to the Senior Director Finance for various special projects; - Other related duties as assigned. **Requirements**: - University degree in accounting or related field - Recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, CPA, CMA, CPA, CGA) is required - 3 to 5 years of business experience or an equivalent combination of accounting and corporate experience - Experience in staff supervision - an asset - Experience in the franchise field - an asset - Bilingualism (French and English, oral and written) - Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 - an asset - Proficiency of MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel) - Excellent knowledge of the complete accounting cycle - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - General understanding of computer accounting systems
