**John Ross & Sons Ltd. is searching for an energetic, motivated, and hands-on Salesperson to join their team in Dartmouth**

**What You Will Do**:
Working directly with the Dartmouth Operations Manager, you will have an opportunity to develop a comprehensive knowledge of structural steel grades and sizing. Specific responsibilities include **(but are not limited to)**:

- Monitor market fluctuations and accordingly adjust pricing through the process of learning and implementing supply and demand calculations.
- Attracting new business.
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Expanding supply chain
- Assisting in buying
- Provide quotes to walk in customers and over the phone in a timely manner.
- Research and present recommendations to senior management on new markets and growth opportunities
- Record and report sales and material volumes, contract statuses and inventory forecasts
- Manage after-sales service.
- Create and execute monthly sales plans to ensure ongoing communication with customers.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Familiar with new steel products (angle, channel, beams, flat bar, sheet/plate etc.). Encouraged, not required.
- Attention to detail.
- Hard working and proficient with various computer software and programs.
- Willingness to learn, ambitious, and energetic.
- Able to convert inches to feet and vice versa.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on driving results.
