About the Opportunity
**Job Type**: Permanent
Department Description
The primary purpose of the WI Implementation team is to manage onboarding of new clients to Fidelity. The products extend to Master Trust, own Trust, Contract Based schemes, S32 Buyouts and International Pension Plans.
Purpose of the Role
The Role covers the Intake and Discovery Phase for both client onboarding and client driven change requests. The role is responsible for liaising with sales and relationship directors to manage the project pipeline, ascertain the scope of the project as per the client's project brief, ensuring project resource is allocated and handing over the project to the project management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Scoping Process for client projects to set deadlines
- Manage the discovery phase of the project
- Liaise with Sales Teams and Relationship Directors to understand and manage the project pipeline.
- Support Sales and Relationship Directors discussing requests with clients and their advisers.
- Allocate internal resources appropriately to achieve the project goals
- Utilise core internal systems to understand clients set-up and how that impacts the project request.
- Ensure smooth handover of responsibilities to project management team
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client requirements are accurately captured
- Completion of Corporate Action forms to ensure clients requirements are adequately relayed to the internal stakeholders
- Attendance at all relevant internal meetings - project or otherwise
- Continuous process improvement - identifying processes that could streamline the scoping timeline
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Good education standard ideally Degree, experience of implementation pensions industry experience with exposure to Defined Contributions Pension Schemes
- Good Knowledge of retirement market and the different retirement product types
- Self-starter, keen to take on responsibility
- Strong organisational skills
- Numerate and computer literate (especially Excel, also Word and PowerPoint).
- Able to negotiate with internal and external teams to manage client expectations
- Ability to anticipate potential problems such as pipeline bottlenecks and plan for such events and problem solve
- Being Risk Aware and being able to communicate that at various levels of leadership - internal and external
- Attention to detail, to fully understand client requirements with project plan tasks
- Due to the nature of the position, the role would suit someone who is able to manage their own time efficiently and is comfortable working in a hybrid working environment.
