**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with target customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate equipment solutions. This will involve a combination of time on the road and some time in the office (potentially remote).
- This is a field-based, on-the-road position that requires frequent and extended travel. You’ll regularly visit client sites, attend industry events, and engage directly with customers across a designated territory.
- Periodic travel to Frontline Machinery’s headquarters in British Columbia will be required for training and company events. Participation in Frontline Machinery training is mandatory.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mobile work environment, enjoys face-to-face interaction, and is adaptable to changing locations and travel demands.
- There is a strong focus on business development, market research, and generating self-sourced sales opportunities.
- You will be expected to proactively identify potential clients, research industry trends, and develop strategic outreach plans to build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Success in this position requires a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable creating and pursuing new opportunities independently.
- This role requires a high level of urgency and responsiveness in managing marketing-generated sales leads. You’ll be expected to act quickly on inbound opportunities, following up promptly to maximize conversion potential.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach are essential to ensure that no leads go cold and every prospect receives timely, professional engagement.
- This role requires a thorough understanding of diverse industrial markets, including aggregates and mining, wood recycling (including biomass), as well as waste and recycling industries.
- Minimum of 5 years in a B2B technical sales role.
- Experience in aggregates or material processing, either from a sales, service, or operations background, is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs, including sales targets, outbound activity, CRM data, etc. in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the full sales cycle with a proven ability to identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities in complex and competitive sales environments.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales quotation tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable English writing, grammar, and punctuation skills.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and capable of working independently to achieve goals.
- Eager to immerse themselves in continual learning to enhance performance and personal development.
