**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Complete grounds maintenance at CH parks including snow removal, salting, sanding, etc.
- Operate plow truck and other snow removal equipment.
- Complete a variety of maintenance tasks throughout the day which could include travelling between any CH properties.
- Ability to support other departments within CH as needed.
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Your Qualifications**:
- Previous Equipment Operator experience is an asset.
- Able to work at any CH designated area and travel to a site not serviced by public transportation.
- Available a minimum of 4 days per week, and working flexible hours - variable shifts including overnights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proficient with Microsoft programs including Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience using software programs like SharePoint.
- Effective communication skills
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. _*Abstract completed by Conservation Halton_.
