Job Description -Warehouse Coordinator Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with the operations team and other internal departments to assist in the following: Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Maintain a clean facility both interior and exterior ensuring tidy workspace is always kept. Work with operations and purchasing department for the ordering/purchasing of supplies for staff PPE, warehouse supplies, vehicles equipment and supplies and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all supplies. Maintain the supply area in an organized and clean state, providing supervised access as required.
Provide hands-on support for day-to-day operations, preparing and loading of equipment/supplies on assigned units as per daily work orders and schedule. Maintaining field equipment and hoses ensuring equipment is cleaned, repaired (if required), tested and ready for use on the next project. Processing of incoming water loads & maintenance of processing system Assist with the equipment offload and cleaning of truck when returning from field work assignments. Train and mentor new workers in proper use of PPE Such other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Dispatch Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 2 years experience in facility maintenance and inventory control.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends. Valid Drivers License with clean abstract (DZ License would be an asset) Strong attendance and punctuality Ability to Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations. Mechanically inclined Ability to operate equipment, such as forklift, skid steer (would be an asset) Strong planning, organizational and communication skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
