**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of **Deli Manager**at our **Lorette Food Store**located at **11 Laramee Drive, in Lorette, MB.**This position reports to the Store Manager **.**The **Deli Manager**adds value to our Co-operative by providing leadership and direction to all aspects of deli department operations within the store.

Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:

- Provide leadership and direction in the execution of financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits.

- Ensure standards of department presentation and operations are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, food safety, inventory control, purchasing, and the delivery of world-class customer service.

- Provide leadership in the area of employee relations, including hiring, training, development, performance management, discipline, and administration of co-op policies.

- Build and maintain a strong culture of employee and customer engagement within the department.

- Coordinate all tasks in a busy, multi-faceted deli operation.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

- A minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, or non-management retail experience performing at a high level (department assistant manager or higher).

- Sound knowledge of department financial operations

- Ability to motivate staff to achieve strong operating results
