**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced **Estimator** to join our team and play a key role in preparing competitive bids for public and private sector construction projects. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the intricacies of civil construction.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing of labour, equipment, and materials
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Prepare detailed and organized bid packages and submissions
- Participate in pre-bid site visits and client meetings as needed
- Track project costs and support project management with budget-to-actual comparisons
- Maintain an organized database of historical costs and vendor pricing
- Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and senior leadership on strategy and project execution

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of estimating experience in civil construction, excavation, or a related industry
- Solid knowledge of site development, underground utilities, and roadworks
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g., B2W, HeavyBid, or similar)
- Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial tendering processes is an asset
- Valid BC driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
