Assessment Services is looking for casual Exam Invigilators to help support their Learning Services accommodated exams. The position is casual, and the hours will vary and may include primarily weekday daytime, occasional weekday evenings, and occasional Saturday mornings. The Exam Invigilator position will provide support to Main Campus, Souch Campus, and Patricia Campus so location of work may vary.

**Key**Responsibilities**:

- Invigilate (proctor) exams for students who require individualized accommodation across NAIT programs and campuses
- Assist with the set-up of testing venue by laying out stationary, equipment and test materials
- Closely follow and enforce testing procedures and regulations
- Know required support accommodations
- Turn on computers and log in with appropriate sign in information
- Perform regular attendance and identity checks
- Invigilation during tests
- Control and manage test environment
- Cover front desk duties and student inquiries
- Other projects, tasks, assignments, and cover-off as determined by operational needs

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to interact effectively with students with disabilities
- Organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a teamwork environment
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to use current technology (e.g. Brightspace (LMS), Microsoft TEAMS, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, Lock-down browser, ServiceNow, Read/Write, and e-proctoring apps)
- Willingness to learn and use new technologies

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 diploma
- PSE diploma in a related field (e.g. Library Assistant, Teacher's Assistant) or a PSE degree are beneficial
- Some experience in a post-secondary environment as well as proctoring experience is an asset
- Driver's license as travel may be required between campuses
- Equivalencies may be considered

Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).

**Remuneration**:$19.02 - $24.74 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of stat holidays and vacation accrual. (Classification - Administrative Support II).
- This casual opportunity is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
