ASCO Aerospace Canada is a division of Montana Aerospace, with our facility located in **Delta, BC**. We are looking for **CNC Operators** to join our Production team at the Canadian operations.

**Job Duties**:

- Efficiently set-up and operate 3 or 5-axis horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines with Fanuc or Siemens controls
- Perform in-process checks of parts
- Precise use of various measuring devices
- Monitor cutting tool performance throughout the machining process
- Safe operation of forklift and overhead crane
- Support 5S and Lean manufacturing processes
- Maintain a clean machine and work environment
- Maintain fixtures as needed for optimal function
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Education and Experience Qualifications**:

- CNC Machinist Technician Diploma (or similar education) _or a related, equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered_
- Previous experience in high-precision CNC machining strongly preferred
- Good understanding and use of CNC machine controls
- Knowledge of cutting tools
- Good written and spoken English
- Very good organizational skills with attention to small details
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work various shifts, such as day, afternoon, night, or weekend
- Must be able to demonstrate safe operation of machinery
- Ability to do precision set-ups

This is a physical job and requires the following:

- Excellent hand and eye coordination
- Ability to work on set-ups for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Safe use of hand and power tools
