Position: Warehouse Technician
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Position: The Warehouse Technician provides support to all departments by ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized and stocked. The warehouse technician carries out a wide array of tasks relative to the process of receiving, storing and shipping of goods. The Warehouse technician is responsible for dismantling of aircrafts as well as product identification and inventory control.
The warehouse technician’s duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Verification of incoming and outgoing inventory
- Dismantling of aircrafts
- Understanding of computer systems and manufacturer publications
- Identification of removed pieces
- Filling out component historical records
- Inspection and cleaning of removed pieces
- Organize and reorganize inventory as needed
- Inspect and count items that are sent out and received, ensuring accuracy
- Inspect products for damages; report as needed
- Scan and save soft copies of certifications for incoming and outgoing goods
- Take quality pictures of all removed, incoming, and outgoing items
- Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information
- Unpack received goods into appropriate storage areas
- Maintain safe working conditions and keep warehouse areas clean and organized and free of non-needed obstructions.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and inventory
- Attend job sites as required
- Call for dumpster removal and replacement at warehouse when needed
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Operate tools, pallet jacks, and related warehouse machinery
- Having a clear understanding of the company's policies, vision, and quality objectives and how the warehouse contributes to these;
- Attend training when required
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist warehouse supervisor where needed
- Plus additional duties as assigned by senior management
**Requirements**:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience, with acceptable references
- Familiarity with the use of tools, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
- High attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiarity with helicopter and/or aircrafts and manufacturer publications preferred
- Flexible with hours and responsibilities as workloads may vary
- Ability to multi-task
- Good working knowledge of computer data systems
- Solid communication skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
- Customer oriented
- Must be available for on call AOG’s, for both Shipping and Receiving
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
