In this role, you'll identify, shape and lead cutting-edge analytics projects, thoughtfully advance AI/GenAI opportunities, and create data products to optimize a variety of service delivery and program planning functions. You'll work with diverse datasets across economic development, health, transportation, and more. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** - Lead advanced analytics projects from conception to implementation - Develop AI and machine learning solutions for complex municipal challenges - Create intuitive data visualizations and tools for non-technical stakeholders - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decision-making - Respect and promote core principles of data privacy and ethics. - Other duties as assigned. **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** A data scientist with strong spatial/GIS skills, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a customer service focus. You love data, enjoy variety, and are resourceful. You share knowledge freely, understand data bias, privacy, and security, and excel at simplifying complex concepts.
