At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Global Logistics Assistant to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

In this role, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Team and be responsible for end-to-end transportation, carriers/freight forwarders relationships, logistics processes and operations performance.

**The Global Logistics Assistant will**:

- Maintain transit reporting, tracking, and tracing.
- Check bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents
- Communicate with customs brokers, delivery companies etc.
- Complete custom clearance for all inbound /outbound shipments on time.
- Arrange final mile deliveries from ports to sites as necessary.
- Partner with other support functions within the Boat Group, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Support special projects as necessary.
- Keep self-updated on Customs Tariff and country regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**To be successful you should have**:

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Global Logistics
- Good organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish objectives and goals anticipating and adjusting for problems and interruptions/roadblocks.
- Proactive problem solving and situational analysis and must be able to manage a large portfolio and be solution orientated.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced supply-chain environment.
