The Live in Youth Support Worker (or couple), as a member of a dynamic team, will deliver the Supportive Housing Program within one of three homes of The Portal Youth Outreach Association (PYOA) by creating an organic, safe, supportive, and loving home for youth. The Live in Youth Support Worker would philosophically and functionally model a belief and lifestyle in keeping with the vision and values of the Portal Youth Outreach Association and supportive housing core outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Live in the home with regular respite (average of 2 days off per week)
- Oversee menu planning, purchase, and cooperative meal preparation with Youth.
- Access supports for a youth who is struggling with rules or completing their chores.
- Facilitate in-house meetings for meal planning, social activities, and other activities as identified by youth.
- Monitor safety and security of the house and its members.
- Supporting youth with conflicts, boundaries, private spaces, community guidelines
- Provide regular reports to the case manager.
- Join team meetings as needed and identified.
- Support the self-administration of the medications in the home as per PYOA procedures.
- Identify needs for coverage when away, with PYOA approved respite workers.

**Salary**: $2,100.00 per month

- Kentville, NS B4N 1K8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
