EDUCATION:
A Maintenance Instructor requires technical high school graduation, plus a relevant trade’s qualification in maintenance they will be instructing and completion of the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program. Operating motor vehicle (4 wheel-drive/standard transmission) with valid BC driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE:
Position requires a minimum of seven (7) years prior experience in the railway maintenance transit environment. Requires a minimum of one (1) year experience delivering adult training courses in passenger transit environment or related industry with a focus on railway maintenance, technical training including, trade specific knowledge of applicable department maintenance, workplace safety, skills assessment, and structured learning. An additional period of up to one (1) year is required for familiarization in the range of courses and training offered, company culture, practices, and policies.

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
40 hours per week.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $62.87 per hour
