Patient Service Partner- Lfse- Veterans Centre

We currently have a **Regular Part-time (0.4 FTE)** opportunity for a **Patient Service Partner** on the **LFSE- Veterans Centre** department at **Bayview.**
**Hours of Work:
**Weekdays &Weekends**: Days; 12hrs; As per schedule
**Statutory Holidays** **are required**
**Summary of Duties**
Working with the professional team, the Patient Service Partner: participates in the caring of patients by providing a variety of support services to the team and patients; participates as a member of the team in a manner that reflects the Hospital philosophy and mission of service; and promotes and maintains good public relations with patients, visitors and Hospital staff.
**Qualifications/Skills**
- Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
- Applicants who completed the Sunnybrook PSA/PSP course will be given priority
- Must possess a Food Handler’s Certificate
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Experience as a PSP at SHSC preferred
- Must possess an Infection Control Core Competency Certificate
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience working with the elderly required
- Personnel Support Worker Diploma preferred
