OverviewPatient Services Partner - Veterans Centre LSSE - Regular Part-Time role at Sunnybrook.Summary: Working with the professional team, the Patient Services Partner participates in the caring of patients by providing a variety of support services to the team and patients. The Partner reflects the Hospital philosophy and mission of service and promotes and maintains good public relations with patients, visitors and Hospital staff. The Patient Services Partner will be required to assist with patient care; decontamination of patients care areas and equipment.ResponsibilitiesProvide a variety of support services to the care team and patients as part of the patient care process.Assist with patient care as required, including activities related to patient comfort and safety; decontamination of patient care areas and equipment.Qualifications/SkillsMinimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of EducationApplicants who have a PSW Certificate will be given priorityAbility to read and write EnglishTwo (2) years of related health care experienceMust have knowledge and ability to assist with direct patient care as required including ambulation, dressing, and turning/repositioningSunnybrook PSP (formerly PSA) course preferredRecent PSP experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work under pressure and to handle various tasks within a limited time frameFlexibility and willingness to take directionMust be prepared and able to use all personal protective equipmentLiaises with patients and visitors on a regular basis demonstrating excellent customer serviceSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typePart-timeJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustries: Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
