Job Description: **MARINE PAINTER** Richmond Casual - Fixed Term While safely meeting the physical demands of the job, you complete assigned tasks to high standards and with mínimal supervision. You anticipate and analyze problems and initiate appropriate solutions. You read plans and drawings to determine painting specifications. You have a thorough understanding of WCB regulations and safe working practices and working knowledge of relevant materials, tools and equipment. You provide a ‘lead hand’ role for new employees and helpers; including input in performance assessment and perform additional duties as required. You hold a relevant BC or Interprovincial Trades Qualification in Painting and Decorating or a 4th year apprenticeship. You have experience in commercial, industrial or shipyard painting.
