Quality Operations Technician

The Quality Operations Technician supports Compliance and QC Packaging Material Testing divisions in GMP documentation review, trending data, coordinating GMP documents flow between Quality and Production teams, MROs and packaging material testing. The Quality Operations Technician administers electronic Quality Documentation System (Solabs) as Document Coordinator. The Quality Operations Technician interacts with internal stakeholders to facilitate raw material and finished product releases.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Execute testing and release of MROs in a timely manner to support production
- Support packaging material testing and release as a needed basis
- Maintain packaging material and MRO specification worksheets, MRO and packaging material testing to FIFO (first in and out), and QO metrics for MRO, packaging material testing and release
- Review and issue Master Batch formats for production activities (manufacturing and packaging)
- Update and maintain all MBFL (master batch record format lists) as current to facilitate production and document flow
- Regulatory audit/inspection support to quality operations department
- Coordinate, issue, control, track, and archive production logbooks
- Release semi-finished production job orders to next stage of fabrication/processing
- Support QO technical assistant in fulfilling customer GMP documentation requests related to batch/ lot production records and other GMP related records, as well as supporting QC packaging material in maintaining PM and MRO release documentation
- Generate certificates of analysis (CofA) and corresponding GMP batch certificates for finished product release
- Use good manufacturing practices to maintain hygienic security while working at a machine or within the facility
**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- College diploma or B.Sc. in a relevant scientific discipline, preferably with experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Other combinations of technical training and experience will be considered.
- Experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, and associated standards preferred
- Continuous improvement and innovator mindset
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated planning and time management skills.
- Experience with documentation.
- Detail oriented and good communication skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
