**Job Overview**

We are currently hiring a Carpenter to help us keep growing. We are primarily focused on the Social Housing industry and most of the jobs will be based in Eastside Vancouver. If you are dedicated and ambitious, and thrive in a fast pace and challenging environment, PPD Restoration is an excellent organization to grow your career.

**Key Role & Responsibilities**:

- Finish and rough carpentry (casing, baseboards, cabinetry, doors, windows, framing, stairs, board ups etc.)
- Minor drywall repairs to paint-ready stage
- Minor painting (baseboards, trims etc.)
- Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials and installation practices
- Maintain proper logs of all work completed through company software communication with project managers and office staff
- Other duties as assigned

**Must Have**:

- strong attention to detail
- a valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
- ability to problem solve and work towards solutions
- working knowledge of the materials, methods and equipment used in building maintenance and repairs

**Must Be**:

- Dependable

- Personable and polite
- Able to work in a team or individually
- Able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Skilful communicator and collaborator
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
