**About the Opportunity**

**POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Evaluates and resolves user software & hardware problems and assists in the configuration of software to meet each department's needs
- Assists in data entry and start-up processes such as installation and testing of new and existing software
- Identifies and administers end-user training
- Monitors the operation of computer software and contacts appropriate resources for additional assistance
- Evaluates the need for new and revised systems, and identifies and make recommendations for possible improvements and purchases of new information systems
- Assists and coordinate with third-party provider about server support and maintenance
- Troubleshoot urgent user operational requests for software or hardware (computers, printers, timeclocks, etc.)
- Maintains various records and documentation for department computer systems
- Point of contact for all The Link IT related vendors
- Monitors tickets and requests

**Business Analysis and Process Improvement**
- Analyze and evaluate current business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Drive process optimization and efficiency enhancements

**IT Liaison and Digital Transformation Support**
- Serve as the primary interface between IT and business units during the digital transformation journey
- Assist in the integration and implementation of new digital technologies
- Help to align digital transformation goals with business objectives

**Project Management**
- Participate in the planning and execution of software and digital transformation projects
- Monitor project milestones, timelines and deliverables

**Data Analysis and Reporting**
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and track transformation progress
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and updates

**Stakeholder Engagement and Communication**
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their digital needs and challenges
- Facilitate effective communication between IT and non-IT staff

**Training and Change Management**
- Assist in developing training materials and conducting sessions for new systems and processes
- Support staff through the change management process during digital transitions

**Compliance and Best Practices**
- Ensure digital solutions adhere to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 3-4 years equivalent work experience
- Proficient in computer hardware configuration
- Knowledge of cloud platform including Azure
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft operating systems, Office 365 and SharePoint
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to communicate technical directions, both in person and over the phone

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, a clear Child Abuse Registry Check with acceptable Prior Contact Checks, and a clear Adult Abuse Registry Check, all done within the last 3 months

**WORK HOURS**:Full-Time - 70 hours biweekly. Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with some overtime during emergency issues/troubleshooting impacting the organization
