**Responsibilities**:
**How Will You Affect the Business?**
- Intake of Commercial client’s new claims and reporting to the insurance company.
- Provide Claims counselling as required to the insureds in a professional and compassionate manner Data input using EPIC and DMS system Maintain, organize and update client files, including Word summaries and Excel spreadsheets.
- Provide up to date Claims summaries and/or specific claim information to Commercial Team as requested Communication with adjusters and insureds with respect to open claims Liaison between insured and insurance carrier during settlement negotiations when required Advocacy on claims, as necessary, on client’s behalf with insurers Process all incoming mail in a timely fashion Attend company sponsored seminars and educational activities needed to maintain product knowledge and expertise, and participate in projects at management’s request.

**Education and Experience**:
- Completion of post-secondary education an asset RIBO license or ability to obtain within 3 months CAIB, CIP designations an asset or courses completed towards designations.
- Prior Commercial Insurance and/or Claims experience required Client service and/or advocacy experience an asset Comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office products Experience with EPIC an asset.
