**ACCOUNTABLE TO**: Director of Health/Health Operations Manager
**Brief Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide guidance to policies and procedures of the program to team members in response to MN
- Provide monthly and annual reports of program statistics and financials.
- Assist with client concerns and address issues where necessary.
- Maintain relationships with accommodation service providers and healthcare providers to ensure citizens healthcare is supported effectively. Along with the Health Operations Manager organize and monitor day to day operations of the program, assist MN
- S Medical Travel Assistance Program team and be a point of contact for changes, updates and feedback regarding the program Along with the Health Operations Manager Monitor the quality of service provided by the MN
- S Medical Travel Assistance Program team Work collaboratively with the MN
- S Medical Travel Assistance Program team by reviewing patient documents and confirming appointment letters. Maintain files and records in accordance with MN
- S protocols and confidentiality. Effective representation in MN
- S Health Department ensuring the appropriate tone and interest is represented in communication with partners, representatives, and organizations. Collaborate with the MN
- S Health team where necessary to provide improvements or adjustments to program functions and day-to-day operations.
- Participate in meetings and interviews related to the program when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Knowledge of Métis culture
- Strong ability to lead and make decisions in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills including speaking, writing, and active listening skills
- Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, database software, electronic communication tools such as Microsoft Outlook)
- Strong time-management skills along with the ability to prioritize daily tasks, organizational skills, and effective decision-making abilities
- Willingness to work within a team environment
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Excellent work attendance
- Sound problem solving and decision-making skills as well as attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills and an ability to demonstrate conflict resolution in difficult situations
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in administration, business administration and/or equivalent work experience and education working with Indigenous and Métis peoples, organizations or governments.
- 3+ years experience leading a program or knowledge to Indigenous governments providing programs and services.
**Additional requirements**:
- Must undergo a Criminal Record Check
- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and access reliable transportation
