Vancouver Concrete Cutting & Coring Inc. (VCC) is a specialty trade in the construction and demolition industries. VCC provides professional concrete cutting services to most major development companies, general contractors, infrastructure and other trades in the Lower Mainland. In addition to concrete cutting services, VCC also provides Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) services as well as holds patents internationally for the ASO-Valve.

VCC is looking to thoroughly train an operator to operate Concrete Wall Saws, Core Drills, and Slab Saws. The operator will be trained to efficiently perform cutting and coring with all required equipment to the high standards that Vancouver Concrete Cutting demands. The operator must learn the proper steps, methods, and techniques used to proficiently perform the cutting or coring tasks required, follow safety protocols, and maintain equipment in optimal working condition. Operators who consistently demonstrate reliability, commitment, strong aptitude for the work, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn will be eligible for rapid and frequent wage increases

- **Important details**: Performing pre-shift equipment inspections, maintaining equipment cleanliness and functionality, and providing clients with a high standard and high quality of work.

**The concrete cutting industry utilizes many types of equipment to perform the tasks required. Operator will be thoroughly trained to become a lead field operator with Vancouver Concrete Cutting and Coring.**
- **Required certifications**: All required certificates can be completed during training process.
- **Communication skills**:Ability to effectively communicate, in both spoken and written English, with crew members, clients, etc.
- **Physical demands**:Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
