Kind & Confident Ed Offers Mobile Kid's Yoga & Mindfulness engaging and meaningful weekly programs for children Ages 0-7 and their families across the GTA. Our mission is to "Help children grow mindfully through movement, connection and self love so they can learn to be kind to themselves and others" through our curriculum. We partner with various locations such as community centres, children play spaces and outdoor facilities to help bring children and their families opportunities to learn, grow and connect. As we grow we are looking for instructors who are kind, energetic and passionate in working with children ages 0-7 years old. As a mobile service, we are looking for Instructors who have access to reliable transportation and the ability to commute to various Community Centres/ locations indoors and outdoors across Caledon/ Bolton and instruct various classes. **Requirements**: - Student in Early Childhood Education, or related field - Experience working with children - Must be flexible with hours and willing to commute to different locations for classes - Standard First Aid - CRP-C (Valid for 2 years) - Vulnerable Sector Screening - High 5 Certified - Have an interest in yoga - Kids Yoga Teacher Training Certification is an asset (or Open to taking it) **Skills**: - Knowledge of early learning philosophies/frameworks - Creativity - Passion for working with children - Great communication skills - Flexibility - Dedicated/Loyal Job Behaviours: - Maintain a warm and welcoming environment to children and families - Professionalism in interaction with participants, location staff etc - Arrive 15 minutes prior to start of class to set up and engaging/ age appropriate program - Comes prepared with lesson plan to each class - Attend virtual trainings/ meeting quarterly **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual Part-time hours: 3-10 per week **Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: All staff are required to follow government mandates in place to keep staff and participants safe.
