At Precision Aluminum our Sales Professionals develop and implement the sales plan and activities to achieve the regional sales objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, the achievement of sales and profitability objectives and the development and implementation of a sound marketing strategy to maximize profitability and efficiencies.
You will be successful in this position if you are a self-starter and motivated to provide excellent client experiences. This role will report to the President and will work with other departments as required.
Basic Job Requirements:
- A total of 4 to 6 years related experience, with a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience (business development, marketing, sales) preferred
- Diploma in construction management or another technical field from an accredited school or equivalent experience
- Actively prospect new business opportunities for SRS aluminum railings, Precision Aluminium, Precision Industries and Precision’s machine shop; follow up on all sales leads for the Precision group
- Devise and implement a sales strategy in the assigned territory which will include
- Clearly defined marketing and calling program
- Attendance at trades shows, training seminars and trade events
- Solution-based selling program to maintain strong customer relationships with current customers and to be proactive in understanding current needs of current customer
- Conduct regular sales forecasting meetings, account planning and other related sales tasks to manage ongoing sales and marketing objectives within the territory
- Maintain communication with customers to ensure production team is meeting customer needs
- Work with General Manager to ensure production is aware of upcoming sales as well as ensure production can meet demand of current projects
- Stay abreast of competition, industry trends and market intelligence, providing feedback to the General Manager and President to support recommendations and identify developing opportunities
- Generate timely reporting that recaps achievements (meeting highlights, market intelligence, etc.)
- Manage day to day business situations, requests, collections, and customer follow up on any discrepancy and/or complaint
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, delegation skills, with strong organizational capabilities and focus
- Commitment to train and impart skills to others
- Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within the business and externally
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills and communication with reports, peers, management and clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be authorized to work in Canada and in Calgary
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
