**Job purpose**

The Asset Management Team provides KPIs, market comps, as well as real estate investment and financial analysis, to help drive strategic direction and operational functions to various departments, in order to maximize the return and property values for owners.

The following is a brief description of the general nature of the position:

- Responsible for analysis and reporting to assist the Asset Management Team in ensuring property, portfolio, and overall department goals are met. This would include market research/forecasting, financial analysis, management reporting, and reviewing budgets.

**Duties and responsibilities**

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Preparation of Annual Property Plans, management, project, and financial reports
- Market research and forecasting
- Analyze, sort and present financial data in a clear and concise manner
- Assist Asset Management Team with KPI’s to evaluate the health of each property
- Help grow the Asset Management program to maximize ROI and property values

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in Capital Expenditure Analysis and long-term capital expenditure planning
- Other analysis and projects as required

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree, preferably with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 1-2 years of financial and investment analysis would be an asset
- Strategic, analytic, and proactive thinker
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness is very important along with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Experienced with MS Office
- Advanced user of Excel, competent in maintaining and analyzing large data sets
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Bi, or, Adobe InDesign, is an advantage

All qualifications comply with provincial human rights legislation.

**Training specifications and schedule**
- Orientation to TRGs policies and procedures 1-2 weeks
- YARDI training to ensure navigation capabilities 3-4 weeks
- Review existing reporting (Monthly and

Quarterly shareholder reports, and

Annual Property Plans) 3 months
