**Maintenance Tech**
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for a portfolio of properties in the Winnipeg area. Reporting to the Property Manager, they are responsible for the day-to-day operation at the buildings and ensuring the buildings are maintained and tenants requests are answered. This position will appeal to a responsible individual who is high-energy, outgoing, and enjoys people.
**Duties**:
- Respond to assigned tenant maintenance requests, provide 24 hours notice prior to entering.
- Complete basic handyman, plumbing, electrical & HVAC repairs as needed.
- Report and escalate maintenance concerns as needed.
- Preform vacant suite inspections and ensure suites are rent ready.
- Coordinate with the property manager and leasing staff to ensure all maintenance is done is a timely manner.
- Monitor progress of repairs, maintenance and renovations carried out on buildings.
- Inspection of buildings and vacant suites to report on any deficiencies and maintenance requests.
- Meet trades on site to allow entry or accept deliveries.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies.
**Qualifications**:
- Education - High school diploma
- Experience - 2-4 years experience (preferred) in a maintenance position. Experience in property management considered an asset.
- Relationship Skills
- Highly motivated and driven; collaborative attitude. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with other staff on the leasing team; committed to building relationships with residents.
- Organizational/Multi-Task Skills - Ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; ability to achieve quality results, ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities and adapt to new ideas and constant changes; results-oriented, detail-oriented, and accurate.

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
